Nevin Buconjic is a serial entrepreneur, author, strategic advisor, startup community leader and catalyst. Nevin holds degrees in marketing, computer science and an MBA, and has over 15 years of experience in business, finance, marketing and small business development. Nevin also holds certifications in Internet marketing (UBC) and economic development (Waterloo) and has taught computers and business at the college and university level, as well as operating several tech-related businesses over the past 15 years.

Nevin is the founder of StartUP Sault Ste. Marie – part of the Startup Canada network, and the author of two books – including the Amazon.com best-selling 25 Money-Making Businesses You Can Start in Your Spare Time, and Starting Your Own Business: An Entrepreneur’s Guide.

He is currently the President and lead consultant at Digital Adventures and CEO of Everyday Smart Living – an online retailer with its own line of smart products that make life easier and more fun.

Over the years Nevin has written or contributed to over 30 articles on business and technology for such outlets as Northern Ontario Business, Sootoday.com, Fresh Magazine, SmallBusinessCentral.ca and the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce Business Today.

In 2012, Nevin’s technology blog articles and social media presence led to an invitation to join Blackberry’s Elite Program, a brand advocacy program providing access to early product information, demo’s, devices, software beta testing and events.
